About Us

Come As You Are!

New Hope Presbyterian church is the oldest Presbyterian congregation in Brunswick County, N.C., established October 19, 1894.

The church hosts a traditional worship service and provides a family-oriented environment and a safe space for everyone.

Our worship service follows a reformed church format, but our sermons are relevant to everyday life. While we typically sing hymns from the blue Presbyterian Hymnal printed in 1990, there are times when we sing the old hymns many of us learned as children.  Recently, we have begun to add praise and worship songs as well.

We have an active five-member leadership team, called the “Session,” that manages all the affairs of the church. One of the outstanding characteristics of this church is the way we care for each other. We prefer personal interactions over formal processes, and the congregation stays connected with each other and everyone lends a hand to help get things done.
