Fellowship makes us stronger. No matter where we are in our faith, fellowship provides us with strength. Being around other believers gives us the chance to learn and grow in our faith. It demonstrates to us why we believe and sometimes it is excellent food for our souls.
Sunday Mornings
Every Sunday morning from 10:30 -11 a.m. we have fellowship time. We gather around tables and chairs in the fellowship hall, catch up with each other and share light snacks before the worship service.
5th Sunday Dinners
Four times a year there are months with five Sundays. On these Sundays, we have a potluck dinner following the worship service. The company and food are always good!
Children’s Easter Egg Hunt
The Saturday before Easter we have an Easter egg hunt for the younger folks. The eggs are hidden outside on the front lawn and a light lunch is offered in the fellowship hall after the hunt. We also usually have a pinata for the children to knock down filled with goodies.
Homecoming
We hold homecoming each year on the Sunday closest to October 19. This is a grand event with special music during worship and an outdoor dinner on the grounds. Invitations are sent out to everyone who has been connected to New Hope Presbyterian to welcome them back to join us for fellowship, food and fun.
Christmas Tree Lighting
The Sunday after Thanksgiving we celebrate the start of the Christmas season with the lighting of our outdoor tree. This community event is filled with fun for the entire family. There is food, music and lots of holiday cheer!
